Without noticing we're watching...
...he picks up this book:
Then sits on the floor and says:
- "Stat fom the beginin"
And, opening the book on the first page, adds:
- "Tun the page"
Finally, as if it was the most natural thing in the world, he "reads" the first sentence of the book, word for word:
-"In the wight of the moon a lickle egg lay on a eef!"
When he finally looks up and notices our presence, he gives us this proud/shy smile that brings tears to my eyes. Where has my baby gone? Where's it gone (like he would say)?
:-)))))
-----------------------------------
PS - for those of you who are not familiar with 'the very hungry caterpillar', the first sentence reads: In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf. And he didn' really read it! He just knows the book by heart! :-)
